Social care (companionship & support)

Prof-Care helps people keep socially engaged whilst living in their own homes.

It’s great to see a friendly face, have a chat, and engage with the comminity. However, for elderly people it can be hard to get around on your own. Our carers and support staff are there to provide companionship and supportto elderly people and vulnerable adults whether it’s at home or out and about.

Support packages

We offer flexible home visits that can be tailored to meet individual needs. Our social support and companionship visits range from short, daily visits – can include multiple visits in a single day – to longer and occassional support.

The support may include;

• General companionship at home
• All-day sitting in
• Accompanying to do your shopping
• Accompanying you to your appointments
• Going out for social activities such as day services and holiday trips
• This may include driving the individual in their own car

We also provide support workers to supported Living homes, residential care homes, nursing homes or sheltered housing.
